Here are the 8 ways you can save yourself some money easily

Tip #1 - Double Sided Printing.

As simple as this may sound, this is such a easy and effective way to reduce paper costs.
By just enabling a quick setting before you start your print job, you are able to save up to 50% paper.
You will be able to take a 6 page document and fit it on 3 pages, 12 pages turns into only 6 and so forth.

All Toshiba Printers come with Double sided printing and scanning out of the box.

Tip #2 - Reduce paper margins.

This is one is not as simple but just as easy to do, when you print with the standard margin settings it is usually set to 1.25 inches.
By changing this setting to 0.75 inches you are able to effectively reduce paper usage by 4.75% according to the Penn State Green Destiny Council.
Now 4.75% might not seem like a lot, but you pair that with double sided printing the savings are starting to build up.

Don't worry, Using 0.75" margins will still keep your document looking neat and tidy.

Tip #3 - Eco Friendly Fonts

YES, Your Font you using is probably be costing you and you don't even know it, Surprising isn't it?
Most companies and people, are and still using the default "Arial" Font, This Font is an absolute toner HOG! Just by changing your font to "Century Gothic" you are able to reduce toner usage by up to and insane 30%.

Its all good and well using custom fonts you enjoy, or keeping the default Arial, but really at the end of the day you are simply just wasting.

Tip #4 - Previewing your print

This should go with out saying, but even noticing in our office unnecessary paper waste purely because there was either a spelling mistake on the print, or it looked one way on excel but prints completely different.

Just Double check your print preview, most printers and all Toshiba Printers come with a neat tablet like screen, Just before you press print, Just check on the printer if the document looks how you would like it.

Tip #5 - Change your paper

If you are constantly experiencing jams or not putting out the quality prints you expecting, Most times its not the printer its self, but rather the paper you are using. For some reason certain brands of printers work better with certain brands of paper.
If you are using Mondi Rotatrim try out typek, or visa versa.

Tip #6 - Multipage Printing

Going back to some settings that could save you, Multi page printing, is like Double side printing but goes to gym.
Multi Page printing enables you to fit 2 x A4 Documents onto one A4 Page. The settings will take the documents turn them into A5 size and position them correctly on the A4 page.
Essentially you are able to fit up to 4 Documents onto one A4 page.

Tip #7 - Print Management software.

By using a PMS ( Print management software ) you are able to have a complete overview of your whole solution. Tip #8 - Get the right printer for you.

This one should speak for its self, but speaking to experts and letting them decide what printer is best for you, is the best was forward.
Its all good and well trying to save money on the purchase price on the printer, but you could be shooting your own foot. Usually the smaller the printer the higher the running costs, and the bigger the printer the lower running costs.
If you are doing large volumes, and try put it through a small printer you will be paying unnecessary amounts on your cost per copies, not mentioning the stress you will put on the printer and lead to more regular problems.

Some times it will be better to get one model higher than you were looking at, as it will easily handle more volumes should your business start to grow, but the printer will also last you quite a bit longer.
